Mendez Bakery was my family’s business for 31 years and where my connection to small business began. My brother created the original logo and marketing, and over time, I took over much of the creative work, from menus and apparel to social media and in-store pieces. Seeing posts drive sales and ideas like our El Chavo del Ocho shirts sell out showed me just how much thoughtful marketing can impact a business.
